WHAT YOU DO IS WHAT THEY LEARN

LearnIsn’t it safe to admit that kids lead by their parents’ example? That’s what makes it so significant for parents to practice what they preach. How important do you think it is for a kid to learn about recycling and waste management? Very! Whether it is waste segregation to sending it off for recycling, it is important that they see you do it. If you teach your kids now, they’ll teach theirs. In the context of Nepal, we spend almost half the day complaining about how dirty the roads are and how people have turned the streets into a giant dustbin, right? Confused how to start? It’s as easy as placing two dustbins (wet and dry) in your home. One less kid throwing a chocolate wrapper in an actual dustbin rather than the street would make a difference! If a parent does it, the kid will follow.

It’s never too late to start! If we teach them now, we can then guarantee a sustainable and clean future to other generations. Don’t you agree? So, Let’s start them young!
